I would consider the Ducati Scrambler a bit different category than the XSR900 and BMW R NineT, however. The scrambler is air cooled and significantly lower HP than the other two which are liquid cooled (75hp ducati vs ~115hp for the other two). I'd say, as far as true "scrambler" ability (able to off road somewhat) the Ducati is ahead. However ...Both have more power than you can legally use anyways lol. The V4 is certainly smoother than the twin the Diavel has. Personally, I like the raw, visceral feeling of the twins better. Both have a nice host of electronics, Ducati safety pack, etc. Looks are all about preference, I like the naked SF better. H-D motorcycle sales dwarf all all motorcycles. Your median personal income of a Ducati rider exceeds the median household income of a H-D rider! If a lifestyle brand is defined by choice and not by necessity, I would say H-D and Ducati riders are indeed lifestyles.

The Superquadro in your current street fighter V2, is essentially a liter superbike. The V2 will probably corner a hell of a lot better than the R Nine. As to heat? The V2 is more displacement, and inside of fairings, and the pistons are closer to the seat; so I’m 90% sure it will run warmer on your butt and legs.
