Update: Power Armor Glitch is Game Breaking. New (and old) glitches are bound to pop up with the release of major updates to Fallout, however, I and a few others have experienced the infamous power armor glitch in the past few days. It has stripped my clothes, disabled my Pip-Boy, and turned my weapon invisible (among other bugs)..

Power armor do have 2 main purposes: Inherent damage reduction (not shown on item description) independent of Armor Rating (shown in Pip Boy). Being hit within a Power Armor is better than without. Depending on your playstyle this isn't mandatory. Not being hit is better than damage reduction.Build a glass topped display. Next to it place a foundation and adjust it's height so the top of the display would be just poking above floor level. Now destroy the foundation and move the display to where foundation was.
